for sale

Recently remodeled, trying to find a good home for some extra stuff I have. I want to get rid of everything this weekend, so everything is the stated price or the best offer I get. Yeah, it's the sleezy "no reasonable offer will be refused" type sale. I hacked together a quick html doc and a google form because I had a lot of stuff and I don't want to spend all day responding to emails.

Instructions

Next to each item there is a rough price and also a form for you to say what price you are willing to pay. Include the item, the price you can pay, and your email so I can tell you to come pick it up. You can see the same information that I have in this spreadsheet where all of the offers will be collected and here where they are organized by item. Your email address is hidden. I won't mark things sold until they actually leave my house and I have the money--so in a sense, it's first come first served. I will try to keep the spreadsheet current so you know if something is available or not

If you need to, you can email me at anon0201(at)gmail.com. However, I probably won't be able to provide additional detail on any items, I can't wait or save something for you, if you want to bargain enter it into the google form, and if you want to know my address I will give it to you when you agree to purchase something.

Various Big-ticket Items

Samsung Fridge & Freezer Side-by-side Combo -- $750, firm-ish

Manufacturers specs here. This is a new fridge that was purchased 1 year ago at Frys Electronics. I am selling it only because it is too big for my new kitchen. There are a few dings on the fridge that I have tried to capture in the pictures--apparently the kitchen demo guys are not the most careful movers.

Hide-a-bed couch w/ 6 pillows -- $350 OBO

Don't know where this couch was purchased or for how much (I think it is something from crate and barrel). You can have the pillows and there is a hide-a-bed as well. You can also have the coffee table in front for $5.

Frigidaire Electric Oven -- $350 OBO

The oven came with the house when my roommate bought the house, and we can't find the manuals. Don't know how old it is and can't find a model number. But it looks something like this here. That may or may not be the right link exactly, but it is somewhere in that range. I would guess that this is about a $600-$750 oven new. Note the plug--you will have to make sure you have a big four-prong outlet.

Expandable Solid Birch Ikea Dining Table -- $250 OBO

I couldn't find the link to the Ikea site where it shows this table, so I don't know the original price. However it is a solid wood table (none of the pressed particle board that Ikea stuff is normally made out of. It has two small leaves that are stored underneath the table that you can use to expand it. The table also breaks down so you can transport it in a big car or van."

Panasonic 32" LCD HD TV -- $300 firmish

I bought a new smaller, thinner TV that works better with my place, but my old TV still works well. It is the Panasonic Viera model. It has two HDMI, component, s-video, outputs and all the other standard nobs and switches. The original remote has been lost, but we may have an extra universal remote lying around. Currently, we use the cable remote to operate everything.

Yakima car rack: cross bars, windscreen, mounts, plus two bike holders. -- $250 OBO

48" cross bars, one cycle holder for any bike, like a beach cruiser, and one cycle holder for a bike where you have to remove the front wheel. You can see more about the whole system where I bought it here at REI. If I remember right, the entire system cost me about $600 to set up. At the time, I looked at craigslist for some used systems but I couldn't figure out all the components that I need, so I just bought a new system. If I were to do it over again, I would buy parts of a system used where you can get a good deal and then buy parts of the system new from REI--the particular stuff that you need to fit your car. The cross bars, bike carriers, and windscreens are all pretty much universal. You would just have to buy some custom mounts to get it to fit your particular car. Mine fits on a two-door hatchback, but it can go on two door or four door cars. You can see the fork bike rack here for $150 and the generic bike rack here for $170.

1940s restored bike w/ basket -- $100 OBO

A few years ago I spent some time restoring an old bike from the 1940s. You can see some of the pics of me doing that here I stripped it, repainted, put a new seat on, bought new tires and new spokes, and the wheels professionally re-laced. I haven't had a chance to ride it recently and it needs a bit of TLC. The bike is heavy. It is missing one set screw that holds the rear wheel on. It is also missing the original screw to service the lube in the back hub. Probably a bike for someone looking for a small project."

Household Items

Panel Curtains -- $50 OBO

I pulled down some panel curtains in my room but kept all the hardware and rails. What I have: 2 mounting brackets ($5 each), 1 single rail ($6), 1 triple rail ($20), 6 top+bottom panel hardware ($6 each), extra / loose panel curtain material ($15) All together it's about $90 to buy new.

New Curtain rods (2), curtain hardware (not pictured), and grey, yellow, light blue, curtains (3) -- $40 OBO

Mystery bookshelf -- $15 OBO

My buddy had this moved down from San Francisco when he was cleaning out his old place. He hurt his back and so hired movers to break down his old apartment. They undid the Ikea furniture and packed it up. All I know is that it is birch veneer colored and may contain the parts for one or more bookshelves. It could be a little surprise.

Electric Water Pump -- $20

Extra water pump that was hanging around our shed. We have one pump installed to push water from behind the house into the gutter, because the site doesn't drain naturally. This good work, it could not. I don't know. But I bet it probably works, otherwise, why would anyone save it? But it's yours to find out.

Rock climbing shoes 9 1/2 mens -- $20

Refurbished rock climbing shoes I bought 10 years ago and used only a dozen times or so, all indoors.

Bathroom exhaust fan -- $150 OBO

Bought an extra exhaust fan for the bathroom, but couldn't install it because of some beams. Have no use for it and would like to send it to a good home. It is new, never been used, just sitting in the box and I can't return it. New it is roughly $340. Link here.

Thermosoft electric 120 volt radiant floor heating 30 sq ft x 2 -- $100 each OBO

Ended up with two 20' lengths of radiant floor heating that cover 30 sq ft each. Normal price is roughly $280 including tax and shipping. You can see a link to manufacturers website here

Two faucets -- $120 for both

The contractor put this faucet in by mistake and I changed it out to a different one that I liked. The first one of the model that I liked that he installed he broke something on it (i don't know what) and so he left me with this extra faucet that I don't know if it can be repaired or not. Link to the Vigo Faucet here: Still good, comes with packaging. Vigo link: here Link to Ikea here

wheelbarrow -- $40 OBO

The tile guys that remodeled the house brought this to the jobsite and then didn't pick it up. At this point, I am just trying to get ride of it. New, one like this costs $170 (see Amazon)

Towel racks / Shelves: 4 31 1/2" shelves, 3 towel racks, S-hooks -- $30 for everything OBO.

These are from Ikea's kitchen and bath section--stainless steel racks. Comes with a bunch of S-hooks that you can hang pots and pans from. You can see the item here on Ikea's website. About $15 new for each shelf, plus the hooks, and various other matching towel bars.

Stainless steel sink and faucet -- $30 OBO

The sink we removed during the remodel. Includes a decent faucet that has a pull-out shower thingy to clean up the sink. Frankly, I like it better than the new sink. Just don't want to throw stuff like this away.'

Aluminum ladder -- $25

Extra ladder was laying around the house. New, and in good working order, these are $170 or so at home depot. This is not new but still functions well.

120 volt track lighting + spots + extra misc equip -- $25 OBO

Various track lighting pieces that we removed from the kitchen. It all still works and can be wired up quickly.

Cheap stuff / potential freebies if you buy something else.

Four extra lamps. Best Offer.

1 big floor lamp, which has a 3" rip in the side, $5; 2 articulating desk lamps, $10 each; 1 small floor lamp, $5. I think they are all from Ikea.

Solid metal & wood chair -- $5 OBO

Chair is made out of steel rode approx 3/8". It came with the house and I just want it out of here.

Recyclable aluminum windows and doors -- free

Various bits of aluminum, steel, and glass. If anyone wants to reuse / recycle, feel free. Originally, I kept these pieces from the remodel because I was going to find time to make a small greenhouse / hotbox out of the windows and steel to grow stuff all winter. Never got around to it.

Wine rack - $5 each OBO

Steel rod wine racks. No need for them.

Woks - $5 for both OBO

One's brand new and one is used and a bit rusty. I was going to make some project with them, but didn't.
